Symposium on Parent’s Duties towards their Children
Held on 21 November, 1999, at
Ghalib Academy, Nizamuddin, New Delhi

In this year 1999 the second symposium was organized in Ghalib Academy, Nizamuddin, New Delhi on 21st November 1999 on the topic “Parent’s Duties toward their Children”. The speaker included Dr. Saud Alam Qasmi, Head, Department of Theology, AMU, Aligarh and Dr. Nafis Ahmad Siddiqui, Principal, Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi, Dr. Mamdooha, Mr. Abdul Hai, renowned journalist and Mr. Absar Ahmad Alvi. They expressed their views on different facets of parents duties towards their children. In their speech they emphasized that the most important duties of the parents towards their children are to see that they are groomed and nurtured in a cultured environment, get the proper education and form good and healthy habits. Their talks were much thought provoking.

• Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad, Honorary Chairman of the Foundation welcomed the guests and speakers and introduced the subject for general discussion.
